Life at Dollar Alley

Wow. So, work has been pretty uneventful. Some crazy stuff has happened, but not really crazy enough to be put on this site. Not to mention with school and other crazy things, I haven’t had much time. But after Monday, I couldn’t hold off on posting any longer.

Within an hour of my arrival, a fight broke out - literally. It was two stores down, out next to the sidework, and you could almost make out the two guys were yelling at each other. I figured it was just those crazy kids again, until one of the customers told me I might want to call the police, as they’d been throwing blows at each other a minute ago. I run to the window, only to see them point to the car, throw a few choice words at each other, and walk away.

Random Question of the Day
 ”How’s the Subway here? Are the people nice?”

Random Giant guy number 7 came back in. I’ve only ‘met’ him once, when he was on the phone with number 6 and 8 … and I still don’t know his real name.

Strange Labels
 The pack advertises two travel tags … we sell three in a pack.
 We also are fully stocked in the Window Wipper section, related to the window wiper family.

The Story that Beats All
 After work, my friend gives me a ride to my house, as he goes past my work and my house on his way around the time I get out. So we head out to leave, and get in the car, when this Ford pickup pulls up next to use. It has a lid overtop of the pickup part [which previous to Monday, I didn't know existed]. Three guys get out of the pickup, and one of them opens the trunk, and pulls out a unicycle. No joke. He’s starts cycling around the parking lot, while my friend and I are in shock, actually seeing a unicycle biking around. As if on cue, four different guys on regular bikes show up from different corners of the parking lot out of nowhere, and begin biking around, showing off tricks, around the car. It was, by far, the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.
